| I just purchased the Gran Nain (chiquita variety) banana plant, and was just wondering if they grow well in Florida. I just never see the big nanners being grown in backyards. Thank you |

| Not sure what you meant by big nanners. The plant or the banana's? In zone 10 Florida, my grand nain only grows to about 5 or 6 feet. And it easily produces lots of full-size bananas. My ice cream on the other hand gets 10 to 12 feet tall and the bananas are half size (of a typical store banana). |
