| It's the dwarf Cavendish I'm thinking because the leaves are closer together. I have the regular Cavendish which grows very tall and the leaves are more spread out and also the dwarf and superdwarf. Your plant is a very good looking plant. It's amazing you can plant anything anywhere these days--banana in Alaska sounds pretty cool to me. |

| Thanks for the help! I am really excited about this tree, it really makes my living room feel super cozy. I hope I can get it to fruit, that would be just awesome to eat home grown bananas in Alaska! |

| I think that might be a Dwarf Cavandish, too. I read somewhere that the younger plants have that red on the leaves. I am super new, so could be really wrong! |
