My first attempt at growing a banana tree . I couldnt have been happier how it turned out . I gave him plenty of water and fed it a few times . I live in southern Ohio.

In that first pic are there red spots on the leaves? If so Im pretty sure that isn't a bajoo it will be some type of cavendish if the leaves have wine spots

Actually , I believe sandy0225 is right . I think that one was slipped in there by mistake . Thats my wifes Cavendish ? He didnt get very tall , of course being a dwarf , he shouldnt . We really like our banana trees , mine did way better than what I was expecting .

Looking great. It looks very similar to my basjoo from last year so it probably means yours will get to around the 14ft range for 2013.

It is possible to take those pups off to plant them in other spots by early spring, but removing the pups seems to make them produce even more pups.
