hey all!
How do you trim your banana tree when time is right? Is that an easy process or need some professionals skills?

trim the dead leaves, the pseudostem flower after fruiting or the plant after crop?

when the leaves turn yellow and wilt i clip them with pruners and mulch them

the flower should have a good 8 inches of stem between it and the fruit before cutting or the end of the bunch will dry up and die.

when the fruit is cropped, the plant is dead and most people use a machete but i like to practice my samurai skills :D
