in your zone, if left outside, it will die, and are grown as an ornamental. planted yearly after the last frost. a lite freeze will damage all the leaves, a hard freeze will knock the plant down to the ground, with possible regrowth. avg temps at 20 or below will kill the plant. bring it inside, in a sunny window and water when dry. keep in mind a banana is mostly water. do not place in direct air flow of your ac/heater vents. put back outside after last chance of frost is gone. unfortunatly, bananas rarly fruit in pots. i hope this helps some.
