Just purchased 8 "Hardy Banana" trees at Lowe's for $2.00 each. They looked really "ratty" but I know how magnificent they are. They are about 18" tall and in 8" pots. Had 2 in the past, both in large pots and they grew like crazy. Left them outside and winterized them as suggested on the web site. Lost one but one survived and sent up 3 "Pups". My questions is, I can leave them in an unheated area of my home where they will get light or put them in an attached shed with no heat and very little light. Which would be best and how much should I water them? HELP!!
