After a Freeze

Elbourne

It doesn't freeze much here on the Mississippi gulf coast; usually only a few times a year and then only a couple hours or so at the most. But when it does, it kills the banana leaves. Some folks will take that opportunity to cut the whole plant down to the ground. Others will just cut off the ugly brown leaves, and others insist that it is best to keep the plan untouched until the spring. What is the best practice?
