Will I get fruit

I've overwintered unpotted bananas in a dark cool, but dry place in the past with success.

This year I forgot to bring it in before the first heavy frost and it destroyed the leaves. I had cut off them off and brought it in pot and all just before going to work in the AM. It sat in my southern exposed dining room, but not by a window. The room is brightly lit.

I noticed new growth, and watered it sparingly. Out came a leaf that is now tuching my ceiling (9' high). I continued with watering (cup/week) and a second leaf came out. Now, there doesn't seem to be a third leaf - maybe going dorment. It has three pups (about 1-1/2' high) which are growing, but very slowly.

It came inside around the 5th of October and now it is December 9th.

If I keep maintaining it this way, and repot in the spring, will it restart from it current height, or die back to the corm? Will its growth from this past season count towards the ten to fifteen months it needs to grow in order to produce flowers and fruits

I'm sorry, but I don't know the variety.

TIA,

Rudy
