Just curious, are they by a driveway/foundation which holds some heat or out in the yard? I am leaving 4(in the yard) this year to see. Mine were 4-5 feet of stem when I set them out, didn't get much height but has 2-3 pups on each(some as tall as mom). Want to see what they do next year.

we live in a sectional home so the foundation is simply for looks and not really substantial. It is growing on the south side of our home. I don`t really have a protected spot away from the wind so its leaves can get tattered at times, but it is definitely a conversation piece. It gets taller than the house every year with more stalks. I`ve never had any luck trying to seperate them to start a new one though.
