Lose the Miracle grow, and plant it in a well draining soil, and do not overwater. Cold and being dug up are both major stresses. Be patient and do not over water. Loss of roots inhibits water uptake and hence the browning of the leaves.

use cactus soil. It is very good draining soil. You can get it from lowes,home depot, or any plant nursery.

Hi everyone
Just an update my belle banana has grown 2 new leaves since i brought it in and put it in a cactusmix/ perlite / moss
soil.
It has completely returned after being totaly defoliated !

Never give up on a banana unless it is just an empty hole in the ground. They will surprise you.

Man i messed up and left my belle banana outside on my porch
in 22* it was frozen in the pot !

Is it history ?

Yes and no. Get it inside where it is warm, remove all dead material (nothing that is green) and anything that is dark brown and mushy (rotting). Hope and pray. Be patient. The warmth will stimulate new growth, which it needs.

ARE yours getting any of this nasty weather ?

I'm on a hill, so have only seen one night at 38. I am starting to see a lot of fried banana leaves around town where it is lower elevation and thus colder.
