| We live on 20 acres (clover, alfalfa, fruit trees, hawthorne, chokecherry, basswood)in northeast Wisconsin. We're interested in starting with bees. How likely is it that we could find a beekeeper who would set and maintain a hive on our land for some honey in exchange? I don't know that we are up to the initial investment of time and money it would take to do it ourselves. At some point we may be. I've done a google search to find a local beekeeper but no hits. How would we find someone?

| Hi, I'm just getting started this year. I called my local extension office, and they gave me a list of local beekeepers in my area. Good Luck. Linda |
