Looked at my hives today and quite a few are taking a quick flight. It's +3 in the sun so they are happy to go out for a moment. Just hope they do not fly TOO far as they may not make it back. Some quite aways away from the hives in the snow. They just will not wear the little jackets I made for them.

Brought home some hives I had bought today. The temperture here was about 11 degrees. Some of the little fellows came out to greet me. They did not venture out too far though.

How far can you throw a snowball? It got into the upper 40's today, maybe 50 degrees at one point.
