Somewhere I saw plans to convert a Langstrom 10 frame box into a double nuk with opposite entries. Now that I want the pland I can't locate the site again, does anyone remember seeing this setup, or have plans for such.

It is simple......cut a 1/4" peice of plywood to fit inside the Deep Hive Body.....do not forget to cut it to fit the rabbit joints which the frames hang on.

Next fix it to the center of the hive...between frames 5 and 6.

Replace the standard bottom board with a flat peice of 1/2" plywood.

To create 2 entrances, just drill 2, 1" holes, one in front, and one in back.....orient them to the center of each of the 5 frames nucs....not to the center of the Hive Body.

Replace the inner cover with 2 solid peices of plywood. One for each of the nucs. The standard telescoping cover will go on top.

The reason for the 2 solid peices of plywood replacing the inner cover is so you can work one nuc, without disturbing the other.

Have a good one, and good luck.
