I'm sure, beekeepers are well aware of whats good for them.

I grow many, but borage is my favored..

Oh, but I've been very curious. I'm thrilled to see this. I know the things that I grow that attract the most bees, but I don't know what I could plant to do better. I have good luck with native bees with oregano, lavender, and blueberries. There's only so much oregano and lavender that I want to grow. I'm a little ill because I didn't know I'd be getting bees this year and I spent all last fall deep mulching my whole yard to kill off a buttercup, but taking down a lot of clover at the same time.

And, wow, that's a lot of borage!

Thanks Ann,...looks like you're doing your part in
providing for bees. Anything you can plant for
them is better then none, I'm fortunate to grow a
large garden. This borage plot is re-seeding
every year and going now about five years, plow
in the fall and till in spring, fallen seeds are in
the ground and sprout up. I add some sunflower,
bird seeds, which is a good pollen source for late season.
Poppies is another one I like.
Weeding by hand is the only major hard work.

This is a larger borage farmers field.

OMG That is a lot of borage. Must just be one big HUMMM when it's in bloom. My main flowers are lilies ( which they don't use that much ) and poppies which they love but nothing anywhere near the scale you are growing your borage.Very pretty as well.

Oh! Beautiful!!

This plant: Lacy phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia)

The bees are crazy about it and it has an extensive flowering period! Plus where I come from its common name is even HoneyHerb.
