Has anyone had any experience(s) with the use of bee stings for MS? Any personal knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've taken one apitherapy class.

and I've stung an MS patient.

For information, go to www.apitherapy.org (American) and

RE: Using Bees For MS

Hello Mama: I hesitated doing this because of the pain but maybe it will help.
On an early Summer morning, a lady called me and said," I want to buy a hive of bees and would like them today". As I chatted with her it became apparent that she knew nothing about bees at all. Finally she told me that she was treating herself for MS and had to have a supply of bees.

I wound up building a small catch box that that fit over a trap opening on the back of the hive whererby she could get the bees she needed without irritating the bees.It all worked well. I did not see her again until late summer. My wife and I walked past her in a resturant and did not know her until she yelled at me.

She was Beautiful, about 30, 3 kids, nice hard working husband, and everything to live for. She looked very healthy. She said,"we are going on vacation, Actually our honeymoon. Her husbnd shook my hand and quietly
said, "thanks"

Around Thanksgiving she called and asked me to pick up the hive. Her ccondition had deterioated to the point that she could no longer go out and get bees or treat herself. She died early the next year. She had stopped therapy when they took vacation and did not restart.

I was Crushed, I thought of so many ways I might have helped. Then a friend said ,"You gave them all more than you know. a few months of pleasure that they would have newer Known."
