| I have six hives. Last Sunday afternoon, the air temp was about 24 degrees, with bright sunny skies and no wind.
I was quite surprised to see that the bees were out taking cleansing flights and removing dead bees from the hives. I thought it was too cold at that air temp, but apparently it was OK, as I saw bees returning to the hives, as well as going out. Not a lot, mind you, and only from 2 of the six hives. |

| 24F....that's minus 4.4 Celsius scale here, freezing temperature and bees don't fly. If they do, it's usually a one way trip, freezing up in the air then straight to the ground. Are you on the different temperature scale? |
