Has anyone kept bees inside?

I keep all my gardening inside, and I was wondering about bringing the bees in as well. I don't know how much space they would need, or if being in a warehouse converted to a greenhouse would work, as long as they had enough food. Just thought I'd see if someone had already done it!

I tried to keep bees in a unheated woodworking shop over winter here in mn, what a mess!!! the bees come out when the weather warms and dont all make it back in,and the hive didn't survive anyway. I've had alot of problems with sping die off in zone3 thats why i tryed it.
