All hives survived but ground heaving trouble

I've been a "lurker" for a year now, but have learned alot. Started with two packages last spring, both swarmed in July, which we retrieved, so ended up with four hives. I was worried about wintering them - we're on a cold windy hill that's always three weeks later into spring than town. Read a lot about wintering hives in the Adirondacks and Vermont, and tried the ventilation advice. They ALL survived and are doing great, though we have two inches of snow again today.

PROBLEM - We have the hives on two concrete blocks each to keep them off the ground, but the spring ground tends to heave a lot and we're having a rotten time trying to keep the hives from falling right over sometimes. Really could use some advice about preventing this next year.
