I've got a package coming in a few weeks, and one thing isn't quite clear to me. I'm not very impressed by the beekeeping book I've been reading. in one place it says you don't have to worry about giving your bees any medication the first year because that's already been done by whoever sold you the package. in another place it says that not medicating for varoa mites is like playing Russian roulette. in another place it says not to medicate your bees unless you have a problem, because they'll build an immunity to the treatments. so I'm confused. when should I medicate
