I can find where to buy the equipment, but I need several sources for bees. Thanks

I believe Walter T. Kelley (in Kentucky) still sells mail order bees.

You can also pick up a copy of one of the bee journals and they have advertisements from queen and package producers.

I've got a list of suppliers of packages, nucs and hives (see below). Some came from the bee journal ads. Also have lists of queen suppliers and equipment suppliers.

Another thing you can do is find your local beekeeping association. Sometimes another member can help you out with a hive or nuc, or the association may have an order in for package bees. Here that often works better than mail ordering bees.

I live one state down from where you are. I have a huge honey bee coloney in the roof of my front porch (coloney is at least three years old). If you'd like, you could remove the coloney (and the wax combs and honey) Please email me if you are interested. Margaret

I got mine from Rossman's (http://www.gabees.com/),
I got 2 3 lb packages which arrived the first week of May
and they're doing real good.

I don't know if you can still get them this year, I had to make my reservations in February of this year.
