A wet faucet can do this, perhaps a plastic garbage bag put over when
not in use.

The bees are very important to have around for pollination in your garden and flowers. Offer the bees another water source. Buy a $2.00 poultry waterer from a feed or hardware store and keep it filled. get several if you can. Put small rocks or gravel in the water tray so the bees have something to rest on. If you do not add the rocks, the bees will get down into the water and drown. I would put the new water source several feet away so the bees can find it, then move it a little farther every few days until it is a comfortable distance from the spicket. Enjoy watching your bees.
