San Luis/Yuma beekeepers

Anyone on this forum from San Luis to Yuma, Arizona? I am on a month long business trip down here and I would like to pick up some local honey to be used as door prizes for the Louisiana Beekeeper's Asssociation of which I am a member.

Also, if you are a beekeeper in this area and would like to have a free assistant, reply to me here or email me. I can pack my Glory Bee bee suit and tools on my next trip down in April.

RE: San Luis/Yuma beekeepers

You might have some luck contacting one of the associations in Arizona.

A websearch turned up 'Rancho Del Sol' near yuma that offers local honey. They might be able to put you in contact with a local beekeeper. Phone (760) 572-0277

A Hive Beginning on Fence

I live in the Foothills of Yuma and there is a substantial beginning of a hive, swarm, I don't know what the technical term might be. They are gathering on a concrete fence and they seem to show up in the evening and leave in the morning. This hive seems to be getting larger and I would say there are a substantial number of bees here. If interested in the bees write me a note. I am not looking for an exterminator or someone who wants money for the bees to be removed. Thanks, Herman
