Ground bees help please!!!

We live in Canada and have the same problem- I am not happy because they seem to be burrowing in the front yard which is our septic system.

Can someone please confirm if we get some extra top soil and cover the holes and seed again with grass seed that it will get rid of the problem?

Do they make a bees nest outside of there ground nests- we have loads of little holes in the ground, and last year we also had a hanging nest in the shape of an oval, in a tree near by. Can Iassume that its them coming out completely of the ground?

Ground bees nest in individual holes in the ground.
The hanging nest was either bald-faced hornets or yellowjacket wasps.

Ground bees don't sting.
So give thanks that you have a place for these gentle native pollinators to live. They won't damage your septic field. But adding soil might.
