Hello!

I have 2 hives of italian honey bees. One, my strongest hive that is in its second spring, has suddenly starting pushing out a very fine dark brown waste out the front of the hive. It looks like very fine coffee grounds. They have pushed out about half a cup so far. We had a very mild winter this year, most of our days were between 45 and 55 degrees and we have had 70-80 degree days since the end of february and they have only been pushing out this stuff for about 4 days. Does anyone have a clue what this is and if it is anything I need to treat for?
