Miner Bees (friendly ground bee)

I have read all the posts and appreciate the information. I have miner bees that live on the side of a sandy sparsely grassed hill in our front yard. They are docile but do claim the territory as theirs. I can't plant bulbs there. I do understand how beneficial they are and it saddens me to hear about people putting poisons or gas down their holes. I guess they have as much right to be here as we do. So I am opting to share my space. I will try to spread some seeds of flowers they like in their area so maybe I can have a little color amidst the sandy hills with their little pencil sized holes!
