Idabean, I just read one of your follow-ups mentioning losing your hives. Yes I did miss your post. I am sorry to hear that. It's hard when you have a couple of hives and lose them both. This winter was much less forgiving than last. Maybe 2 or 3 days that just barely made flying temperature. Most days that were warm enough were also days when it poured. I lost hives also but had enough that survived to get going again and ordered some more. I'm always optimistic that this will be the best year ever. That's the great thing about the changing seasons. Don't get discouraged. Every year is a learning experience and full of surprises. Have you gotten any more bees yet? The invitation is still open. Let me know when you'll be out this way. Tony
