I would get in touch with a local bee club, garden club, or extension service to see what native plants attract bees, and then go from there. Have her write a letter to the local paper to see if there are any nearby beekeepers or gardeners who can tell her about native plants. It's great that your daughter has taken such an interest. Another thing I would suggest is get her a camera and a journal, so she can keep track of what she sees. Best of luck to you

I am creating a bee sanctuary and am focusing on using native plants, especially ones that support the native bees and pollinators. I have many links from my blog to sites that explain bees, native plants, etc. Perhaps you will find some information there that will help you out.

I'm learning a lot about bees and other pollinators (like butterflies, hoverflies, etc.) and enjoying sharing the process.
