Honey Bee Observations

Last summer I didn't see a single honey bee in my yard or garden. I have a Hollyhock garden, had 24' canna bed, 8' wild flower bed, and 16' bed of sunflowers. The only bees I saw out there were bumble bees. The neighbors yard is full of sweet clover too, not a HB there either. This spring I've already noticed several honey bees! Hope they're back!!!!!!

Sophie,
I admire you with your hard work on your flower beds!....I'll bet, it's all bee haven around your place, wish more people
have so much energy like you and do something for the environment, also, your own body gets a good physical work out,
something to show for at the end of the day.
