Mason bee update...

I now have 14 filled tubes of mason bees! I started my colony by purchasing 6 tubes (in march of this year).

I have a chair by their nest boxes and I sit and watch them several times a week.

They are incredibly industrious!

They have bounced off my head a couple times because I was in their flight path, but, they totally ignore me and get back on track LOL! They don't get excited, even when my nose is 6 inches away from their tubes. I am really enjoying having them in our orchard!

Howdy, this is my first year with mason bees and I'm really enjoying watching them too!!!! I only have 7 or 8 holes filled but it's a start!!!
