Look a little harder for a beekeeper , there are many looking for swarms to make up for winter losses.
Most swarms only hang around a couple days.
Fire dept may know of a local beekeeper, Police, Cooperative Extension office, Nearest feed supply, etc
Who sells local honey in your health food store?
Beekeepers know other beekeeprs, make a few calls.

Your state Dept of Agriculture may also have a registry of local beekeepers. At the price of bees lately, it would almost pay to fly to the west coast to pick 'em up. (joke)

Monday (9th) while planting some wildflower seed, I saw a swarm of bees about the size of a quart jar attached to a small cedar tree in our yard. We used to have bees & I was contemplating getting some more when these appeared.

My better half found one of our old hives (that we had cleaned & stored) and with his bare hands scooped the bees down into the hive. Never got a sting.

I always get stung. I guess they can sense fear.
