help! bumble bees!

We just discovered a nest of bumble bees in our hose reel (the kind that is attached to the house). I hate to kill them as they are tending to my flowers. However, my husband isn't too happy with them. We're using the hose constantly as it is very dry here. So far the bees have ignored us but then again, no one has cranked the hose up since we discovered them.

Any ideas?

Bumble bees are harmless, I would leave them until the babies are hatched, they don't have large colonies, perhaps 20 or so......enjoy them!

Although I'm surprised to see them nest in your hose reel. Bumblers I see here in the midwest next in the soil.

I think there was a mouse nest in the reel from the winter and from what I read here bumble bees like old mice nests.
