It's a fairly common issue. Go ahead and get a new box with frames, and use the frames to replace the ones that are in the old box that are without brood. Once new frames are drawing out, you can move the old ones to the outside extremes, 1,2, 9, 10. As soon as they have no brood, replace with new frames. Once you have 10 frames, you can move to a new box.

Actually you can swap the box in first, by putting the old frames into the new box, then pulling unused frames and replacing.

Moving 100 yards is not too bad. Lots of advice will be forthcoming.

I would go a bit further. Simply get your new boxes and frames ready. Place the new hive in front of the old one and move the old frames into it (assuming you have frames in the old one). Take away the old box. After a few days, close up the new box at night and move it to your new location. Place a leafy branch across the opening. This will force the bees to re-orient when they exit the new hive location.

If you don't have frames in the old box, you have a cutout situation. The comb will be attached to the box lid. You cut it loose one comb at a time. Trim the comb to fit into the frames. Wrap rubber bands or tie string around the frames to hold the comb in place and put it in the new hive as above. The bees will wax it into the frames and remove the rubber bands or string.

Bee sure if you use the cutout method to keep the combs topside to the top when placing in the new frames. The queen won't lay in upside down comb.
