Identify these bees

I had hoped that this bird house would contain a wren family but instead I have {{gwi:431629}} They are smaller than carpenter bees and bigger than honey bees. They don't seem too aggressive. What are they and how do I move them away from my front porch? Second question I rarely see honey bees any more probably because of all the spraying by my neighbors. However, this year I am seeing a bee which has a darker abdomen and is a bit larger than a honey bee. Identity?
