Great news! Saw honey bees on milkweed

Just had to post! They were also on my raspberry flowers too, as well as the milkweed plants! I'm really glad to see that! :) But, the strange thing is, I did not see a single honey bee on any of the white or red clover right below the raspberries.
Thought that was odd!

mersiepoo, Good news. Our milkweed is opening also. The bees love it and it smells great too. We've had mostly bumblebees working the clover, with a few honey bees. We have lots of basswood trees nearby which are coming into bloom right now, so thats where most of the bees are. Tony

I've been seeing more bumbles, they love our cucumber flowers on the back of our deck. We have a few basswoods on our place, but they are hard to find, as most of our place is woods, but I smell a lovely aroma and I think that is the smell of basswood. :)
