| I am totally ticked off. My bees swarmed today and they are way up in a tree right in fronT of my house. Wish I knew some one who wanted them I don't have hives for 2.So much for being nice to them. And it's only a first year hive at that. Only got them may 3rd. |

| That's a bummer!...It would be nice if you could get equipment to hive the odd swarm,....I love swarms, these are my back ups for winter kill and your equipment can pay for itself, considering our bees are not cheap in spring. I sold 5 hives in spring from swarms the previous year,....I just wanted to manage 2 hives for this year. So far I had 3 swarms, one I lost, but one of the two swarms outproduced the other two original hives, they filled two large brood boxes and one large honey super,...just put the second one on. It's just amazing how these swarm bees work, they are more eager to work and want to establish something new in a hurry....simply amazing! Konrad |
