I need a safe treatment for aphids.

My vegetable garden is getting over run with aphids. I'm afraid anything I would buy to kill the aphids would harm my bees too.Does anyone have a recipe for a non-toxic spray? I have heard that a dish soap and tobaco "tea" solution will work but I don't know how much soap.
