Please Help Me Identify..Concerned for Grandmas safety

I have many bees hanging around in my backyard and really they seem to enjoy it without harming anyone. I actually enjoy taking pictures of them and find them to be interesting subjects. Recently i have noticed an influx of a new type and his numbers are becoming greater. My concern is that my grandmother really enjoys sitting outside but i dont know what these are or if they are aggressive. I need some help identifying them and any info i can get would put my mind to rest. I dont know know how to post pics here so i have a link to my picasa album w three pics hopefully some one can tell me what they are.. thank you for your assistance.
