Puting the wet combs in the strongest hive can help you.

Thank you for the answer. But it cunfused me a little. I thought that it is the family on which you put wet combs that start robbing others. From what you say it would be completely opposite, this family would be robbed. So looks like I was wrong. That even better because this family I want to take honey from is very strong.

Strong colonies can be robbed if the hive has many "doors", or "windows". But the strong colony will clean the frames faster and better than a weak one.
You musn´t feed a weak colony with wet frames (would be killed in any hours), only with sugar and water (does not smell).
Personally I enjoy reading to George Imirie, master beekeeper and magnific person, reading and re-reading him (500 times) i am opening my eyes...(and if i read his writtings 5000 times I will learn English -lol-).
