Early this morning I went out in in my garden before work and found hundreds of bees competing for a chance to jump into squach blossoms, cucumbers, melons, and more. Yes, like so many, I worry about squash bugs and vine borers, but I couldn't possibly do anything that could slow down my garden helpers working so hard so that I get lots of good things to eat. I'm considering mason bee blocks and other things for my yard and garden, but with all the wild activity by a wide range of different kinds of bees, all different sizes, maybe things are good. It's just nice to see.
