Best Place to put a flowerpot in for Buble Bees?

I love bublebees and want to put in places to encourage them to nest in ur yard. the problem is we have ALL yead exept for the garden. Will lawnmowers upset the bees when father mows the lawn and will they sting when agetated close to the nest? The dumb dogs run around the eges of the fence, whe only place that sint mowed is just outside that fenceline. Would the running dogs agitate the bees if its feet from the nest? will the dogs get stung? or father? theres NO place in our year that isnt transversed by people and dogs. Would under the porch work?

Thanks

under the porch might be a really good place. I doubt that dogs running by will probably not disturb them. Make sure to put dead grass underneath the pot and good luck attracting the bumbles. You could try putting them right in the garden as well. They may not move in until next spring though.

fyi, they seem to prefer the north side. bb's are fairly peaceful unless agitated. i have had them nest in the shed. we "walk" in together and i have never been stung. the entrance to their nest was also at the top right corner of the doorway. so, even though i was "in" their nest, they didn't feel threatened.
