Yellow Jackets invaded my brick

Posted by tmiller Michigan (My Page) on

Ok I found out that it is Yellow Jackets who have decided to take advantage of my missed tuck pointing on the brick house. Should I just leave alone until winter or should I put traps near? They are right next to my patio door, grill and not sure what to do at this point. Anyone who is a pro, please ring in.

Thanks so much

T. I checked the web and came up with this from Clemson University. There is lots of good info on yellow jackets. The article stated that they die off in the winter, so my earlier advice would work if they aren't a bother right now. You can probably copy and paste if you can't just click on it. Hope this helps
