Stung by a Blasted Bee

| My husband and I purchased a neighbors home and the gardens have been over-run with weeds and grass. I foolishly went out yesterday eager to clean out around my new old fashioned rose bush and pull out wild milk weed. Needless to say, stung in the neck and my dog several times too! They followed us all the way to our home two houses away. My neck got very swollen and my left arm started to hurt greatly, and before bed I noticed quite a swelling or fluid bag under my left arm. My sting is on the left side of my neck. I've noticed my reaction to Bee's are getting worse as I age. My question is this...is the fluid sack or swelling for lack of other terms normal under my arm? It is perhaps were lymph nodes are located. Still here today though. I took benadryl right aways and a Bayer aspirin before bed because I felt nautious. |

| I would not say the swelling under your arm is normal. I will say that it is not abnormal. If you didn't have any serious problems within a couple of hours it is safe to say you will be fine. I strongly advise you to avoid any more stings. The reactions can become more sever with each sting. |
