I'm obviously not from your area but to possibily find local beekeepers, check with a county ag extension agent or pest control operator.

There's not a clear answer to your other two questions. If the wild (feral) colony contines to survive/thrive, then most likely your wall would continue to be okay. If, on the other hand, the colony dies off then the wax honey comb could melt/decay, releasing whatever honey was left. This would at a minimum, make a mess attracting ants, mice, etc. and a less than pleasant smell as the pollen molds.

Thanks for the reply I havnt been up there since I posted so Im not to sure how its going. I followed a link from some where that had a map of the U S and you clicked on your state and then that popped up a list of bee keepers in your area very nifty site. There was one guy about 30 or 40 miles from my trailer I wrote his info down and planned on calling him in November when I go up to winterize. Hope he can help, thanks again for the input

It's a rather graphics intensive site so if you're on a dial-up modem, it's gona take awhile to load. And not all beekeepers are on it (though it's growing all the time). But at least if you can find one in your area, he/she might be able to direct you to more in your local area.
