I have a very old live oak with a opening about 20 feet up.

There were bees buzzing into and out of the hole last summer.

Now I have a sidewalk underneath and I see all this debris from the hole.

old comb and other stuff.it drips too

does this mean the bees are gone??

at one time there was a raccoon in there but I think the bees kicked him out.

I dont see the bees anymore flying around as much.

basically my question is, what is this stuff on the ground?? raccoon scat or bee debris??

please help!!
