Linn tree?

I bought some honey at my local Farmer's Market a couple weeks ago. The honey is almost clear with just a tinge of gold. The lady I bought it from said the honey came from Virginia and was the product of bees that fed exclusively on Linn trees in the mountains. Are any of you "bee-people" familiar with this tree? She said it's also called the "bee tree" but Internet searches yielded many different sources for that name. I can't find anything relevant when I search for "Linn Tree" either...

Thanks!

Abby
