getting stung

my husband has 2 healthy, 1 small hive right off to the side of my cutting garden. The problem is that I am right in their flight path. However, up until now (2 growing seasons) we have gotten along fine. I was stung once mid-summer, but am pretty sure I antagonized her (of course, unintentionally). Yesterday and today, every time I enter the garden (& it needs maintenance!), within 5-10 minutes, a bee is buzzing wildly, stuck in my hair. I have been stung 2X and "escaped" 2X.

Are honeybees attracted to heads/hair?? Could it be a scent? Is it just a coincidence? I wore a hat the last time and it happended again. Are they just too frenzied & active and trying to collect right now and I am in their way???
