Found bees

| I was wandering in our acre woods across the creek from our home and came upon a deep hole in the ground - opening about the size of a CD disk (5" or so). There were lots of old comb pieces around the opening. I had thought some animal was living there and eating honey. Today I pushed a weed down the hole and lots of bees came out, pronto. What have I found? |

| Sounds like you have found a "yellow jackets" nest that the critters have been diging up |
