I've recently moved to North Carolina, and bought some bees in the late summer. I have to feed them of course. Normally when I mix a gallon sugar syrup I add a pinch of salt to it. Not much, just a bit.

So I mixed up a batch of Fumidil laced sugar syrup as a preventative for nosema, and without giving it much thought added a pinch of salt to it.

Later it occurred to me that the salt might interact with Fumidil, render it less effective, whatever.

Anybody know?
