| My neighbor has a few hives and the bees are in my yard constantly. Here they are on sedum Autumn Joy a few days ago. The honey which Eric the beekeeper shares with us is yummy. Jim

Holy honeybee. I gotta get me some Sedum. I've been looking for a good plant to plant for my bees. This looks like the ticket. Thanks for sharing.

Well, at least in my yard, some sedums are more attractive to bees than others, and this is without a nearby bee keeper.

Jean, in the pictures above, the bees are obviously loving the red Sedums. Might it be that some of your sedums are more or less attractive to the bees due to color, or some other factor? I'd hate to plant the wrong kind and have them ignored by the bees!

Sedums seem to go through a shifting color scheme. The sedums are noticeably darker today than they were last week when these pictures were taken. I'll check on bee activity tommorrow and report back. Jim
