| Ok, we are happily nurturing our bees and are about to make a new box for the bees we are removing from my mothers house and are going to move them into our grove.
We are building the box to have the pull out frames and we want to make it so we can use a centrifuge to extract the honey. My understanding is that making it this way is better because the comb stays intact and the bees don't have to expand their energies rebuilding and can focus on honey production. I've found plenty of information on building the boxes and frames but I haven't yet found out what is the best wire mesh/screen for the combs to be built on. So my question is: What wire mesh or screen is the best for the frames for our new hives? We are building it this week and moving the bees next weekend. I thank you in advance for your assistance.

| ""What wire mesh or screen is the best for the frames for our new hives?"" You dont use wire mesh it is called "foundation" it either comes in wax or plastic the bees make comb on the foundation. I think most people are better off buying frames (I do) and build the boxes and other parts of the hive, there are plans for anything you need for a hive @ beesource.com |
